
Games Practical Project - Solo project
As Overwatch is one of my favourite games and has been for the several years, I decided to create a level design at University for one of my modules. Fascinated by Blizzard Entertainment's approach on player behaviours, and the way they designed levels for 30 unique characters.

Outpost was my final year project which I finished working on in May 2019. Outpost is a level design created to fit Overwatch, the level was designed with the Control game mode in mind, however this level will also work for the Capture the Flag game mode.

Throughout this project there was a lot of iteration due to balancing, here are some of the things I considered:
- Sightlines
- Playable space
- Verticality
- Routes (Access & Escape)
- Player behaviours
- Character Abilities
- Interior VS Exterior
- Risk VS Reward
- Health pack placement
